There are many ways in which you could help us out at Animal Action. Here are just a few:

Fostering
Animal Action is committment to placing each and every dog in a home that is not only loving, but that is suited to their individual personality and temprament. For this reason, our dogs are never placed in kennels, but rather in foster homes where they are able to develop, socialise and grow within a safe and nurturing home environment.

We are always in need of volunteers who are prepared to foster dogs and puppies. There are very few things in life more rewarding than sending a dog on their life journey with a new loving family. Fostering can be done in a way that works with your lifestyle, commitments and property features.

House Checks
Each and every home that is offered to an Animal Action dog is inspected before the puppy or dog is given into their new owner’s care. This is a hugely time consuming part of what we do as we cover the whole of the greater Durban area. We are very much looking to build up a network of “home checkers” who will give as little or as much time as they can to assisting us in making sure that each home we send our dogs to meets the requirements of Animal Action.

Donations
Any financial donation is hugely appreciated. Each of our dogs is de-wormed, inoculated and checked by the vet before they go to their new home. We also run a sterilisation programme to prevent unwanted litters. Needless to say, our vets bills are substantial, so any contribution simply allows us to help more dogs!
